Bhajia Spice Mix

Make your own Bhajias at home with Rafi’s Bhajia Pack in as little as 15 minutes. What would a curry night be without some Bhajias?

This savoury blend of gram flour and spices includes onion and ajwain seeds, which provide distinctive pops of flavour when eaten.

Bhajias or Bhajis are a popular street food found across India. Rafi’s Bhajia Spice Mix is our version of this well-loved snack.

Try it with: diced onion or grated courgette.

  1. Empty pack into a large mixing bowl with one finely sliced onion (or other grated/sliced veg).
  2. Gradually add 125ml water, mixing it well until the batter is smooth and thick.
  3. Drop tablespoons of the mixture into medium-hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  4. Drain, place on kitchen paper, and serve.

Gram Flour, Baking Powder (Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Edible Starch), Spices, Chilli Powder.
